Once again, we're bringing together a world-class staff of 85 teaching & performing artists! They're not only great and inspiring traditional players, but also experienced and supportive teachers.
Instruments taught are mainly fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, and cello (and singing, too). There will be many workshops on technique, musicality, and history - and comfort and confidence in playing. All acoustic instruments are welcome at FH.
Styles covered are Bluegrass, Blues, Cajun, Cape Breton, East European, Electric, Irish, Jazz, Klezmer, New Acoustic, New England, Old-Time Southern, Québécois, Scandinavian, Scottish, and Swing.
Live sessions planned are 30 concerts, 30 jam sessions, and 180 workshops.
