An Ancient Irish Tune "Brian Boru's March" (From CTL) :

Location: R34

Instructor: KLEIN[F]

Style: English Irish Scottish

"Brian Boru's March" is a traditional Irish tune from our Common Tune List about the High King of Ireland from about 941-1014. Brian Boru died in the Battle of Clontarf in which his army defeated the Vikings. This was originally a slow air (you can almost hear the pipes) but works well as a march; it commemorates the journey where his body was brought back to Armagh for burial. 3 parts, as we usually play it.
