Learn "Flowers of Edinburgh" (Scottish Reel from CTL) on Fiddle or Cello:

Location: R3

Instructor: BEATON[F] NEWTON[C]

Andrea will lead the fiddlers, and Abby, the cellists, in learning and ornamenting this beautiful and flowing traditional Scottish tune from our Common Tune List. First published in 1737, it's now played in many traditions. Some believe that the "flowers" in the title referred to the contents of chamber pots that the residents threw out tenement windows. Others don't.
