Learn a First Crooked French Canadian Tune

Location: R36

Instructor: Becky Tracy (fiddle)

Style: Canadian Québecois (French Canadian)

If you have never played a crooked tune before, this might open an amazing door. We’ll learn a tune from the legendary itinerant fiddle player, Thomas Pomerleau, called "La Marche à Thomas Pomerleau" (key of D). This tune is not to be confused with the more well known "La Marche à Quêteux Pomerleau" (key of G) attributed to the same man.
