A Quick and Devilish Lyman Enloe Tune from Missouri:

Sunday

5:00-6:00PM

Location: R37

Instructor: C. MASON[F]

Style: Missouri Oldtime

"Cowhide Boots" is a fine tune from a great fiddler. Missouri was a microcosm of American fiddle music due to its geographical position as a settlement area from Eastern US and in the westward expansion. As such, it combines elements of early Appalachian style with the vast community of immigrants - Irish railroad workers, Cherokees, French miners and farmers and Germans.
