Amy Beshara is an in-demand performer and teacher in the New York metro area. Amy completed classical and jazz training at Manhattan School of Music Prep division as a scholarship student before earning a Certificate of Higher Education in Viola Performance and Teaching from Trinity College of Music, London. Amy holds certifications in the following methods: Suzuki Method, O’Connor Violin Method, Music Together, Performance Wellness, and continues to study the Paul Rolland Method, and Dalcroze Eurythmics, working towards certification.
In addition to classical music studies, Amy is well versed in jazz and highly proficient in fiddling, holding first place titles at the Howell Farm (Princeton), NJ and NY State fiddle contests. Amy has appeared on ESPN, NBC, and CBS TV Philly, WAMC Radio Albany, and WFMT Radio Chicago, and performs regularly with the Iona Scottish Session in Brooklyn, and the Philadelphia based band Burning Bridget Cleary. Amy has been teaching for over 15 years, maintaining a private studio of about 30-40 students.
