Amy Beshara is an in-demand performer and teacher new to the Boston area. Amy completed classical and jazz training at Manhattan School of Music and Trinity College of Music London, and studied linguistics and language acquisition at Montclair State University. Amy holds certifications in the following methods: Suzuki Method, O’Connor Method, Music Together, Performance Wellness, the Paul Rolland Method, Dalcroze Eurythmics, and is a certified Vinyasa and Yin yoga instructor.
As a fiddler Amy has appeared on ESPN, NBC, and CBS TV, WAMC Radio Albany, and WFMT Radio Chicago, with the Iona Scottish Session in Brooklyn, and the Irish folk/trad band Burning Bridget Cleary. As a teacher, Amy has been teaching for over 15 years, maintaining a private studio of about 30-40 students. Amy taught in the Suzuki department at Montclair State University Preparatory division before her move to Boston. Amy recently founded “Sound Bodies” combining yoga and sound therapy for musicians’ postural issues and stress management.
